The co-creator of Call of Duty, who helped create the globally famous video game Call of Duty, has tragically died in a traffic collision in the state of California aged 55.

The tragic news was confirmed by Electronic Arts, the publisher that controls Respawn Entertainment, the video game company he co-founded.

The celebrated video game developer passed away following his automobile collided and was engulfed in flames on a freeway in LA on this past Sunday, according to.

"This represents a heartbreaking loss, and our deepest sympathies go to Vince's family, his family, and everyone impacted by his work," a spokesperson for Electronic Arts commented.
